But have you ever heard of alpaca yoga?
Around 20 people from all around the South Coast came to North Dartmouth on Saturday morning to practice yoga with the alpacas at Hill Crest Farms on Old Fall River Road.
They spent an hour respiratory, stretching, and conserving poses — and on occasion handing out peppermint-flavored treats to the woolly camelids that grazed peacefully close by.
“It’s sincerely amusing to be able to do [yoga] out of doors in nature, with animals,” defined yoga trainer Keri Cusson. “Because such a lot of yoga poses are animal primarily based.”
Farm owner Shirley Lanouette stated that they decided to do a yoga occasion after hearing about similar activities.
“It’s becoming a factor,” noted Cusson.
